Vice President of Communications & Engagement
Michelle Lanchart
As the Vice President of Communications & Engagement at PCI Media, Michelle leads the organization’s efforts to foster strategic relationships, conceptualize and develop opportunities for partnership, and communicate PCI Media’s mission and vision. Michelle works with diverse stakeholders and is passionate about strengthening networks and connecting people to achieve a common goal.
Michelle has experience leading cross-functional teams with a focus on communicating with a range of audiences in educational and nonprofit settings. She is an experienced trainer of educators with over 7 years of direct classroom practice in 6-12 and undergraduate education. Before joining PCI, Michelle was part of the communications team at the Modern Language Association.
Michelle holds a PhD in French Literature from New York University and is fluent in English, French, and Italian. Her dissertation examines how the fantastic in literary fiction allows readers to explore the limits of human knowledge and perceptions of reality in the context of the individual within society. Michelle has lived, worked, and studied in the US and abroad. She is a first-generation American and college graduate.
When not working, Michelle plays recreational league soccer and enjoys The Real Housewives franchise.
